Charming Tom Jacobs reveals a darker side once again. This week, we take a moment to mourn another loss: the three packs of toilet paper that Tom’s friends wasted while playfully decorating their buddy’s house.
From watching Amanda Lee film her latest vlog to witnessing Tom’s dramatic “arrest” as part of a revenge prank, this episode had many unforgettable scenes. However, nothing was quite as upsetting as the argument between Bella and Mia in Sarah Jacobs’ kitchen during a girls’ wine night, and the way Tom addressed his wife during Jake’s birthday bash.
At the wine night, all the women were present—except, of course, for the always-absent Rachel. While the atmosphere seemed relaxed as the ladies enjoyed their snacks, Bella felt compelled to confront Mia about her alleged behavior after their earlier chat at Tom’s party.
“She should feel lucky to be in my presence, and she needs to know her place,” Bella declared during a confessional. “Some people need to remember to stay in their lane while I take the lead.”
For context: Last episode, during Tom’s gathering, Bella questioned Mia about whether her boyfriend, the newly sober Lucas, had been drinking at a party. Mia defended him, asking Bella where she had heard such rumors. It turned out the gossip had originated from Lucas’ old friend, Jake.
“I just don’t get your friendship with Jake,” Mia challenged Bella. To which Bella replied defensively, “He’s a loyal friend! He backed Lucas up a couple of years ago when things got messy.”
“Shut up,” Mia shot back.
Back at Sarah’s wine night, Bella returned to the kitchen and confronted Mia again. “Mia, let me be clear,” Bella began. “When I pulled you aside at Tom’s party, I was genuinely worried. I heard Lucas was at a party, and I wanted to make sure he was okay. You turned it into a disaster.”
“Did I?” Mia asked, clearly taken aback, leading Bella to insist, “Yes!”
“For you to focus on Jake—” Bella said, but Mia interrupted, “I’m sorry—”
“No, I’m talking,” Bella retorted.
“We’re having a conversation, which involves both of us—” Mia started, but Bella interrupted again, “Then listen and let me finish. I think you’ve forgotten your position, and I’m here to remind you.”
Bella continued, “You mentioned, ‘Jake is obsessed with Lucas.’”
“Because he is,” Mia shot back.
“I want to smash my head into this table,” Bella exclaimed.
“Please do,” Mia replied.
In a confessional, Mia shared her feelings: “I think Bella sees my vulnerability and exploits it. It’s a classic bullying move. If we don’t all agree she’s a bully, then we can at least agree she’s a total brat.”
Fast forward to the episode’s conclusion, after Tom’s “arrest,” we find Sarah, who is less than amused by the prank.
“I understand where Sarah is coming from. It’s tone-deaf; there are layers to it,” said Laura, defending Sarah’s perspective at the party.
“To joke about police matters is in poor taste, in my opinion,” Laura added in her confessional.
“It really wasn’t that big of a deal,” Tom shrugged at the gathering, to which Sarah shot back, “A cop puts you in handcuffs and tosses you in the back of a cruiser, and you expect us not to be upset?”
And then it happened—once again on this series: Tom belittled Sarah, telling her to “shut up”—not in private, but in front of the entire party.
“It’s not funny,” Sarah replied, and Tom mockingly echoed her. Laura then defended Sarah, urging Tom to stop.
“Nobody cares about your opinion,” Tom snapped at his wife.
“Shut your mouth, dude,” Laura scolded him. “Don’t say that.”
“That’s why I can’t stand being with her,” he continued, losing control and relentlessly degrading Sarah.
Beau stepped in, telling Tom, “Dude, you can’t say that.”
“Just sit this one out,” Tom replied, but Beau stood firm. “There’s a difference between drunken arguments and this. The way Tom talks to Sarah is just cruel.”
Tom, you might want to consider cutting back on the drinks, too.

In summary, Tom Jacobs’ public humiliation of his wife, Sarah, during a party highlights troubling relationship dynamics that are hard to watch. With moments of tension and aggression overshadowing the lighter aspects of the episode, viewers are left questioning the health of their marriage.
