“When she notices that someone recognizes me—whether it’s kids or parents—she’ll tug at me and say, ‘Dad, come on! They recognize you! Say hello, you’re The Rock!’” he revealed with a chuckle. Jasmine then introduces him to the fans, saying, “This is my dad,” which leaves Johnson both amused and a bit sheepish.
Interestingly, Jasmine hasn’t always been his biggest fan. Back in 2019, Johnson recounted how she was less than thrilled when he sang along to songs from Moana, exclaiming, “You’re ruining the song!” It’s clear that his daughters keep him grounded, with the eldest, Simone, also throwing some playful shade his way. After attending a concert, she once remarked that it was incredible to be around someone famous, leaving Johnson bewildered.
