The moment This Is Us enthusiasts have eagerly awaited all summer is finally here! After leaving us hanging back in April, the Pearsons are back as Season 4 premieres on September 24. Get ready for a wave of new characters! (Surprise! Here come a bunch of relatives and significant figures you never knew were part of the Pearson saga—but trust us, you’ll end up loving them, crying when they exit, and likely smashing your remote as Season 4 delivers yet another gut-wrenching cliffhanger. Yay!)
Just a few days stand between us and the answers we’ve been craving. Did Rebecca choose Nicky? Who’s the mother of Kevin’s child? What role will Jennifer Morrison and Omar Epps play? And let’s not forget about M. Night Shyamalan’s mysterious involvement. So. Many. Questions.
Twitter is buzzing with excitement, especially since the Season 4 trailer ominously suggests that if we think we know what’s in store, we really don’t. They’re keeping tight-lipped because it’s impossible to encapsulate the emotional whirlwind they’ve planned in just one hour.
WHAT DOES ALL OF THIS MEAN, JACK? (We still adore you, though.)
We’re on edge because we know how anxious this show makes us (flashbacks to the Season 3 finale…). But the relief we feel when our beloved characters are okay? Priceless.
Naturally, we’ve replayed the trailer countless times and are already in tears.
Our weekend schedules are locked in… and our families better brace themselves because Season 4 will be a lot like past seasons. This show inspires us to dream bigger about our futures and makes us feel like we’re part of this family in some way.
And if they’re searching for more drama, I’m ready to deliver it (spoiler: it’s me).
On the bright side, if you need a pick-me-up after an emotional breakdown and show up to work with puffy eyes… thankfully, the wait is nearly over because this obsession may not be healthy. We see Jack, Rebecca, Kate, Randall, and Kevin everywhere!
Season 4 can’t come soon enough. We know you’ve already taken a sick day for emotional recovery on the 25th (yep, we did too).
