At your little one’s four-month checkup, the pediatrician will conduct a standard physical examination, similar to what you experienced during the previous visit. Immunizations
During this visit, your baby will receive a second dose of the Pneumococcal vaccine (PCV), DTaP (Diphtheria, Tetanus, and Pertussis), Haemophilus Influenza Type B Conjugate vaccine (Hib), and Polio vaccine, just like before. Additionally, a second round of the Rotavirus vaccine (RV) will be administered orally. Typically, the nurse will give the shots towards the end of the appointment.
