The artist, who recently identified as non-binary, has been candid about their healing journey, particularly after a life-threatening overdose in 2018. In a TalkSpace video from last year, Lovato shared, “Therapy enabled me to discover my voice and attain a sense of inner freedom I’ve sought since childhood.”
