Elden’s lawsuit targets the surviving members of Nirvana, Courtney Love (widow of the late Kurt Cobain), and all record labels associated with the album over the past 30 years. Elden describes the image as sexually graphic and argues that it portrays him as “a sex worker reaching for a dollar bill.” Contrary to previous reports stating he received $250 for the shoot, Elden claims he was never compensated, and no consent form was signed by his parents.
