Leading organizations such as the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) also advocate for vaccination, emphasizing that COVID-19 poses significant risks for pregnant individuals. Despite this, the tragic news of Emily’s passing serves as a stark reminder of the serious consequences of remaining unvaccinated.
In her final days, Emily expressed regret about not getting vaccinated. Her sister is now sharing this message through a GoFundMe campaign aimed at supporting Emily’s family. “One of Emily’s last wishes was for everyone to get vaccinated against COVID-19 to prevent further tragedies,” her sister stated.
