In anticipation of the second season premiere of Saved By The Bell, the beloved original Bayside crew is back together, enjoying some laughs at The Max. The reboot on Peacock has been a delightful surprise, capturing the humor and charm of the classic series, beloved by fans of the ‘80s and ‘90s alike. Now, with a release date and teaser trailer out, we’ve also received a fresh batch of photos featuring the entire Bayside gang gearing up for another round of antics.
Joining the new faces at Bayside High, everyone’s favorite couple, Zack and Kelly, are back and celebrating their 27th anniversary — can you believe it? Zack (played by Mark-Paul Gosselaar) is now the governor of California, while Kelly (Tiffani Thiessen) runs a wellness business. Their teenage son, Mac, is the popular kid at school.
AC Slater (Mario Lopez) and Jessie Spano (Elizabeth Berkley Lauren) have also returned, with Slater teaching gym and Jessie serving as the guidance counselor. While Zack, Kelly, and Lisa Turtle (Lark Voorhies) had limited appearances in the first season, it’s great to see them reunite and catch up at their favorite hangout.
We hope the new season pays tribute to the late Dustin Diamond, known for his role as Screech, who passed away in February. We’d also love to see Jessie and Slater explore their relationship further, plus it’s exciting to see Lisa looking as fashionable as ever.
Although the teaser trailer doesn’t reveal much about what to expect, fans can look forward to the season premiere on Peacock on November 24, just in time for Thanksgiving binge-watching.
