The comments on these thirst trap videos are often comedic. Consider a video featuring a stunning queer woman in Norway, who asks where the local queer community is. The responses are filled with straight women declaring their newfound feelings: “I need to leave TikTok; I’m either laughing, crying, or experiencing ‘bi panic.’” Another comment reads, “I’ve been questioning if I’m bi, and now I know — Norway, here I come!”
In another instance, a viral #bussitchallenge video prompts comments from “straight” women like, “Yep, I’ve been mistaken my whole life” and “I need to stop asking myself if I like girls or guys because it’s clear now…” One even quips about being married while feeling drawn to women, highlighting the confusion many straight women are feeling.
