As the holidays approached, they noticed Leo’s health declining, which Nick described as “the scariest thing I’ve ever experienced.” Tragically, Leo passed away in their arms on December 5. Reflecting on their time together, Nick expressed, “We had such a short time with a true angel. My heart is shattered.”
