Just over two months after the birth of their son, Kylie Smith, 24, and Tyler Scott, 30, still haven’t finalized a name for the little one. The couple, who also share a daughter named Stormi — who celebrated her fourth birthday just a day before the arrival of her brother — initially announced the baby’s name as Wolf Scott on February 12. However, Kylie later retracted that decision. Following a heartfelt video tribute to her newborn, she clarified on Instagram, “Just so you know, our son’s name isn’t Wolf anymore.”
In a chat with Entertainment Tonight’s Lauren Zima, the beauty mogul revealed, “Wolf was never on our list; it was actually a name suggested by Khloe.” To which a joking Khloe responded, “Don’t do this to me.” Kylie explained, “I liked the name, but it just didn’t fit him.” Both Kim and Khloe expressed their fondness for the name Wolf and supported Kylie’s naming journey. Kim shared her own experience, noting, “I didn’t name any of my kids for ten days, two weeks,” and added, “I even thought about changing names.”
While Kylie feels the pressure of choosing a name for the birth certificate, she mentioned to ET, “We have some really strong options.” Kris Smith, the family matriarch, chimed in, “We have some placeholders,” emphasizing the importance of the decision. Kylie expressed her desire to understand her son’s personality better before making a final choice.
Kylie and Tyler will need to reach a consensus soon, however. If their son follows the trend of his famous relatives, he will need a proper name for social media posts in no time.
