Tina and Jake from the popular show Little People Big World joyfully announced on Instagram that their son, Samuel Luke, was born on Saturday. This marks their third child and fourth pregnancy, making the arrival of their rainbow baby even more meaningful.
In March, the couple shared their experience of a miscarriage last year at six weeks pregnant. “We were overjoyed to learn we were expecting baby #3 and couldn’t wait to share the news,” Tina recounted. “We went in for our first ultrasound at eight weeks and discovered we had lost our precious baby two weeks prior,” she wrote on Instagram. “I had never felt such profound loss, sadness, and fear in a moment. There were no signs of losing our angel, and nothing could have prepared me for that heart-wrenching news.” She also shared a photo of her growing baby bump, affirming, “I wasn’t forgotten.”
“I am deeply thankful for God’s blessings and for the incredible gift after such a time of sorrow. I’ve learned to appreciate every ache and pain of pregnancy, realizing what a true gift it is,” she expressed.
Now, Tina and Jake are thrilled to introduce their family of five, sharing two posts showcasing little Samuel Luke. They first revealed the baby’s gender with a playful twist on whether he would wear a hat or a bow. Their second post included details of his birth, weight, and height, with the heartfelt note: “The best early birthday present a mama could ask for! We love you, sweet boy!”
Jake also expressed his excitement in a post featuring the couple with their newborn in the hospital, saying, “He arrived about two weeks early, but we were ready! Our family is overjoyed, and the kids love him already. I’m incredibly proud of Tina; she has been amazing!”
