What an incredible week it has been! I truly cherish the excitement surrounding book releases, and this week marked the debut of “Motherhood Comes Naturally.” A heartfelt thank you to Lily Jane, the owner of Tea Time Café, for hosting the most delightful launch tea in New York City. If you’re in NYC, you’ve likely heard of Lily’s charming establishment. If you haven’t yet visited, I highly recommend making it a priority. It’s the perfect venue for a lunch date with friends, an afternoon treat, or an unforgettable birthday celebration. And let’s talk about the scones—they turned this non-scone enthusiast into a scone admirer! They are simply divine.
Each guest left with a goody bag that included not only my latest book but also my first one (special thanks to Bright Publishing!). The bags also featured wonderful snacks, a discount from Sunshine Sam, a complimentary spin class from Cycle Life, and stylish frames from Artful Designs. What a lucky group of attendees!
I would also like to express gratitude to Mia Thompson Photography, who not only documented the event beautifully but also kept reminding me to maintain good posture—now that’s what I call a dedicated photographer. If you’re in the New York area, Mia is an exceptionally talented portrait artist worth checking out!
A few days later, back in Baltimore, my dear friends at Charm City Playhouse graciously opened their doors on their day off to host a launch celebration for me. Their kindness was truly heartwarming! We enjoyed a delightful breakfast courtesy of Quaker, while Lisa and Mark from the band Sunshine Singers entertained the crowd, and I signed books for their lovely mothers.
A huge shoutout to Megan Adams for capturing the stunning photographs from the event. Working with her was a pleasure, and I sincerely appreciate her time and enthusiasm.
