In 2014, a remarkable initiative was established, known as The Thanksgiving Initiative. It began three years ago with a small group of families who faced the harsh reality of being unable to afford a Thanksgiving meal. A few compassionate individuals stepped up to offer assistance. Rather than aiming to transform the world, the goal was to impact the life of one family positively.
As word spread, an inspiring wave of support emerged. More families shared their challenges, and an increasing number of contributors began donating—from a single dollar to hundreds. Ultimately, over four hundred families enjoyed Thanksgiving dinners that they would have otherwise missed, leading to the formation of a new charitable organization.
Every day, this platform highlights diverse experiences and opinions from mothers across the globe. At the heart of our differences lies a common bond: the unconditional love a mother has for her children. This nurturing instinct underscores the essence of The Thanksgiving Initiative. Our collective journey for the welfare of our children is what unites us. So far, more than 4,500 families have benefited from the initiative, with 2,765 applications processed last year alone, all of which were fulfilled.
