Our phones have become an inseparable part of our lives, acting like an extra limb. We rarely set them down, as they offer us everything we could ever want: texts, emails, memes, games, music, GIFs, GPS, and all the social media platforms we can explore. Instant access to the world is a luxury we cherish.
From the comfort of our homes, we can connect with friends and family without ever needing to put on real pants. While our loved ones might call us phone-obsessed, we see it as a way to engage with the world without facing it head-on. Luckily, many others on Twitter share this same passion for their devices.
We thrive on instant satisfaction and have little patience for delays:
We also despise boredom:

Sometimes, our partners feel like they’re competing with our devices:
Finding a balance can be a real challenge:
We enforce screen time limits for our kids, but not for ourselves:
Occasionally, we even plan our days around our phones:
The panic sets in when our battery is low:
We’ll go to great lengths to prevent that from happening:
Seriously, we will do anything:
Yet, there are aspects of a life without phones we miss:
It’s hard to find a valid reason not to reply these days:
And deep down, we sometimes wish for a digital timeout:
But I’ll never regret taking selfies:
Having this level of technology at our disposal is both a blessing and a curse. It’s essential to strike a balance and occasionally look up to appreciate the real world. But you’ll have to pry my phone from my cold, dead hands!
