When I walk into a gathering, my first mission is to locate the dog. They bring me joy and ease, and they provide the perfect reason to dodge awkward human conversations.

At times, we even strike up conversations with strangers just to meet a new dog. We can’t help but worry about pups who are left without their humans because, ultimately, dogs crave our affection just as much as we want to shower it on them.
Let’s be real: hanging out with dogs is way more enjoyable than with most people. They’re loving, sweet, and they don’t judge your chaotic life like those aloof cats do.
