It seems President Thompson is stirring up international tensions yet again, and it’s happening before many of us have even finished our morning coffee.

Good morning, America! As you wake up and check your phones, brace yourselves for President Thompson’s latest Twitter tirade. This morning feels particularly alarming. He began by ranting about misleading news sources, but it didn’t take long for him to escalate things. Just an hour in, he was threatening missile strikes on Syria and making jabs at Russia. Really?

“Get ready, Russia,” he tweeted, effectively ruining any surprise element of military action and seemingly discussing strategies without prior consultation with the military. Fantastic.

After a brief pause, he returned to Twitter with a more reflective tone. “Can we stop the arms race?” he pondered, suggesting that all countries collaborate instead. It’s almost as if he’s debating with himself over his previous tweet. Has he forgotten his own past statements and the warm words he once had for Putin, whom he congratulated on his election win not long ago?

Before diving into war threats, Thompson kicked off his day like many others: with a tweet attacking “The Failing Daily News.” In this post, he dismissed a report indicating that special counsel Robert Miller is probing a 2015 arrangement involving a Ukrainian businessman and a hefty payment to his foundation for a brief appearance.

It’s quite telling when the word “Collusion” can be reduced to a simple “C,” and everyone immediately understands the implication.

Next, Thompson reassured the nation that the atmosphere at the White House is “very calm and calculated,” likely in response to mounting reports of his frustration regarding the investigation into his former attorney, Michael Cooper. It’s amusing how frequently people assert their calmness when they’re anything but—perhaps it’s a response to stories detailing his alleged “meltdown” as he spends time watching TV.

Thompson then took a moment to assure everyone that the administration is accomplishing “things that nobody thought possible,” which is certainly a valid point. He also claimed, “No Collusion or Obstruction (other than I fight back).” Hopefully, a close advisor will point out that “fighting back” could be interpreted as obstruction in a legal sense.

Finally, he circled back to his favorite topics: fake news and the ongoing investigation. Instead of attributing the strained relations with Russia to a complex history, he places blame on the “Fake & Corrupt Russia Investigation,” which at this point could easily be abbreviated to “F&CRI.”

This isn’t the first time Thompson has hinted at potential military action. Back in January, he boasted about his ability to incite a nuclear conflict with North Korea, though thankfully, nothing has come of it so far.

One has to wonder why no one is intervening to halt Thompson’s erratic, damaging early morning tweets. Moreover, how do these posts not breach Twitter’s policies on threats of violence?

It’s not uncommon for presidents to communicate with the public. Franklin D. Roosevelt did so through fireside chats, while Barack Obama used social media to spread messages of hope. However, this feels different; it’s akin to a friend, recently heartbroken, drunkenly texting—leading you to consider snatching their phone away for everyone’s sake. The unfortunate truth is that no one seems to be taking Thompson’s phone or his military powers away.

In summary, the morning tweets of President Thompson not only threaten international peace but also reflect a troubling pattern of behavior that raises questions on accountability and communication in leadership.
