Hey there! So, you know how life can get super busy? Well, that’s exactly what Heather Lane is experiencing right now. The reality TV star is juggling a ton of projects, including her new show, The Flipping Lanes, alongside her husband, Jake Lane. On top of that, she’s in the exciting journey of pregnancy, expecting a baby boy soon. I had a chance to chat with her about how she’s handling everything, from self-care to co-parenting with her stepkids.

Q: You and Jake are expecting your first child together while managing IVF treatments. What was that experience like?

Heather Lane: It was quite a ride! We were in our second round of IVF and had embryos frozen, ready for implantation in October. Then, out of the blue, we found out I was pregnant! It was a total surprise, but such a blessing for us.

Q: How’s your pregnancy been treating you so far?

Heather Lane: Honestly, it’s been amazing! I’ve really enjoyed every moment. Sure, there were some adjustments—like finding new clothes that fit and dealing with changes in my body—but I’ve figured out what makes me feel good and stylish. I’m busier than ever, managing two TV shows, real estate ventures, my skincare line, and raising two stepkids. Even in the last few months of pregnancy, I still have great energy! Some days can feel overwhelming, but overall, I’m feeling incredible.

Q: With such a hectic schedule, how do you prioritize self-care during pregnancy?

Heather Lane: Staying active has always been a part of my routine, but I’ve learned to listen to my body. I’ve cut back from working out five days a week to choosing rest when needed. Now, I aim for cardio once or twice a week, do yoga with a fellow expecting mom, and hit Pilates weekly. Plus, I love taking my dog for walks around the neighborhood to enjoy the fresh air. I squeeze in meditation whenever possible, even just for 10 minutes. Sleep has become more important to me, so I’m going to bed earlier and making sure to stay hydrated with coconut water daily for those extra electrolytes.
