Due to this deep connection, Jamie felt inspired to give back. “One amazing thing Jamie did last year (that I’m excited to share) is after noticing the unused beauty products piling up, they decided to collect unopened makeup and hygiene items from me and other influencers to donate to the @lalgbtcenter, which serves queer and trans youth,” Thompson elaborated.
Thanks to the generosity of Thompson’s friends, Jamie was able to donate hundreds of items to the center. “Just look at that smile! This is incredible,” she expressed.
On her podcast, Thompson recounted Jamie’s coming out story. “For those of you tuning in, this is the first time I’m sharing that Jamie is openly gay,” she said. “They told us when they were 10, and honestly, I knew they were aware of their identity.”
