In a recent court filing, Britney Spears’ attorney, Mathew Rosengart, has alleged that her father, Jamie Spears, approved a $500,000 payment without the pop star’s consent. Interestingly, Jamie had previously opposed Britney’s request for a vacation to Hawaii, which she wanted to fund with her own earnings, but he eventually approved the trip.
In court, Rosengart reiterated Britney’s experiences of trauma and her feelings of being “dead” and not valued. Britney’s mother, Lynne Spears, has expressed concerns over Jamie’s ability to prioritize Britney’s interests, both personally and professionally, arguing that having him as conservator is not in Britney’s best interests. Rosengart reiterated this notion, as Britney’s medical team supports the removal of Jamie from the conservatorship.
