I’m not referring to any pumpkin spice delights; my ultimate autumn craving is the sweet, buttery, melt-in-your-mouth triangular candy that keeps me reaching for more—yes, I’m talking about candy corn! While some may turn their noses up at it, a totally unofficial Facebook poll I conducted revealed that 31 out of 42 people are candy corn fans! So if you want to truly embrace the spirit of fall, now’s the time to join the club.
For those of us who adore candy corn, all the criticisms become praises. The texture? Absolutely delightful! It’s soft and chewy, with just a hint of crumble. Those three vibrant colors, while they might taste the same, are much more fun to enjoy piece by piece. Want to elevate your candy corn game? Mix it with peanuts or cashews in a bowl, and your guests will keep coming back for more. Add in some chocolate chips or M&Ms, and they might just want to stay forever!
