If you’re anything like me, you might just be realizing that it’s already October and the pressure is on to figure out Halloween costumes that make your kids think you actually put in some effort. Halloween is supposed to be my favorite holiday, and there was a time when I crafted an elaborate ghoul costume on stilts for my son that had the whole neighborhood buzzing for years. But with everything going on in the world, it’s tough to keep striving to be The World’s Best Mom. If you’re in the same boat, you might just want to settle for being The World’s Okayest Mom (I’m right there with you!).
This year, you might be itching to embrace one of those themed family Halloween costumes. Once, I thought they were a bit cheesy, but these days, I welcome joy from whatever source I can find. So, whether your family costume is cute, spooky, or whimsical, you’re determined to make it happen.
