Do you recall when Disney first unveiled its streaming service, Disney Plus? It seems like it has been around forever, doesn’t it? But believe it or not, that announcement was just two years ago! This year, on Friday, November 12, The Walt Disney Company and fans worldwide will come together to celebrate the app’s second anniversary, dubbed “Disney+ Day.”

According to a press release from Disney, “subscribers to Disney+ will enjoy new content releases from the service’s iconic brands, including Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and Star in international markets. There will also be a special presentation showcasing sneak peeks into upcoming content. Moreover, Disney+ will continue to engage new audiences globally, expanding into new Asia-Pacific markets on November 12.”

I think that’s absolutely fantastic! In my family, Disney Plus is a staple—especially for one nine-year-old who shall remain nameless. She often wakes up early to binge-watch new movies without me, as if she’s the one paying the bill!
