Sandra Smith made an appearance on The Chloe Parker Show recently, and right from the start, it was clear these two hit it off. Their chemistry was electric, filled with laughter and quick-witted banter, reminiscent of a blossoming mom friendship that we couldn’t get enough of!
As the interview kicked off, it was apparent that staying focused was going to be a challenge—but honestly, who cares when they’re having such a blast? Both ladies expressed admiration for each other’s careers, yet a hint of nerves lingered in the air.
“I’m going to act so cool!” Chloe declared with a laugh.
“Me too!” Sandra chimed in.
“I can hardly look at you!” Chloe admitted.
“I can’t handle looking at me either!” Sandra shot back.
Once the subject shifted to their kids, everything fell into place. Sandra is a mom to two little ones, Max, 10, and Elle, 7. Meanwhile, Chloe is also a proud mom to her kids: Lily, 6, and Finn, 4. It was like they were finishing each other’s thoughts, and the relatable mom chat flowed effortlessly.
“Are you good with homework, or does it make you anxious?” Chloe asked, alluding to the new math methods kids are learning these days.
“I don’t even attempt it!” Sandra responded.
“Same here! You might want to phone a friend,” Chloe replied, both bursting into laughter.
They even found common ground in navigating their kids’ requests for smartphones, but the laughter reached new heights when Chloe accidentally referred to Sandra’s parents in the present tense.
“My parents were musicians—both have passed away,” Sandra corrected playfully.
“But they were musicians, right? That’s still cool,” Chloe replied, a bit flustered.
Sandra, still chuckling, responded, “That they’re gone?!”
“No! That they were musicians! I’m sweating!” Chloe exclaimed, and they both erupted into giggles.
After a quick commercial break, they tried to delve into talking about Sandra’s new film, The Unforgiven, but it wasn’t long before they were back to joking around.
“Did you just call me a whore?” Sandra joked when she misheard Chloe, prompting her to stand up and laugh it off.
“Honestly, it’s uncanny how much you remind me of my friends! The things you say!” Chloe admitted.
“Are your friends whores too?” Sandra quipped, and the laughter continued.
When they finally attempted to pivot to discussing Christmas decorating, the struggle was real. “The producers are in my ear saying, ‘Segue to Christmas! It’s a holiday episode!’” Sandra told the audience. “I love Christmas, especially Christmas at Wayfair!” she added, referencing Chloe’s partnership with the retailer, which sent the audience into another fit of laughter.
As the interview wrapped up, the joyful banter continued. “She’s thrilled my parents died, and I was called a whore,” Sandra concluded amid giggles. “This is the best interview ever!” Chloe laughed, still enjoying the moment with her new friend.
If that’s not the essence of mom energy, we don’t know what is!
